Objectives
The objective of the Conference is the exchange of the latest knowledge and experiences of experts and professionals in the field of safety engineering. To the initial topic of fire protection have been added the topics of environmental protection and occupational safety. A prerequisite for sustainable development of the mankind and the nature is the recognition of protection regarding natural world and work environment. Every day we witness the disturbance of our natural and work environment. Every modern society sets as an imperative the establishing of optimal protective measures in order to protect the natural environment, work environment, and above all the human being. To manage hazardous situations efficiently, it is necessary to identify the circumstances and risks, to study the causes of hazardous incidents and to build a strategy that will prevent the development and consequences of such incidents. Positive results can be expected only through the participation of scientists and experts dealing with safety engineering in the modern management of natural and work environment. The exchange of opinions and knowledge is indispensable and it is one of the steps contributing to a positive move. We hope that the Conference will contribute to the active inclusion of science into profession.
